Safe Sister
Strategies for Safer Living
Self-defense courses for women serving Southwest Colorado. Bringing four decades of law enforcement experience to help you avoid being a victim of crime – and what to do when avoiding isn’t an option.
Safe Sister is a 9-hour, self-defense course for people who want to be safe at home, work, school, traveling, on the internet and in their personal relationships.
It consists of three classes. Each class is three hours long, taught one night a week (usually Monday nights) for three consecutive weeks. We discuss topics and scenarios, and practice physical self defense in each class. The final class culminates with each student confronting an opponent for a dynamic, one-minute fight.
